BURLINGTON, Massachusetts, November 20, 2003 - Xelerated, developer of the XeleratorTM X10q - the industry's only 40 Gbps network processors, today announced that it has been nominated for the prestigious Most Respected Private Fabless Company, as awarded by the Fabless Semiconductor Association (FSA) at its annual Awards Dinner Celebration. The award will be presented at the event on Thursday, December 4, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, Calif.
With more than 900 private fabless companies in the world, the FSA formed a committee of industry experts to narrow down the list for the Most Respected Private Company award. The fabless community, suppliers and semiconductor financial and industry analysts were then asked to select a private company that they most respect in terms of product, vision, strategy and future opportunities. Xelerated were nominated alongside Atheros Communications and Cavium Networks."
