Executives bring wealth of experience in sales and R&D to support expansion efforts
STOCKHOLM, Sweden - June 3, 2008 - Xelerated, the global leader in field-proven Carrier Ethernet ASSP chipsets, today announced the appointment of two new executives to its management team. Both Anders Ericsson, vice president of sales, and Fredrik Orava, vice president of software, bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Xelerated, to accelerate the company's growth plans.
Anders Ericsson brings over twenty years of sales and business development experience to the Xelerated team. Ericsson was most recently president of Svenska Fibernät AB. He has also held top positions with VeriSign Inc. and TeliaSonera International Carrier, where he led the sales of the company to achieve unparalleled growth in sales results.
Fredrik Orava has extensive experience in research and development in multiple markets, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Germany, bringing international management and software expertise to his position. He previously worked as senior director of R&D with ADVA Optical Networking, where he successfully integrated the Swedish and United Kingdom's research and development departments into one organization with common procedures and operations. He has also held positions at mPacket and Dynarc.
