Christer Rydberg leads operation, pursues additional opportunities for expansion in China
STOCKHOLM, Sweden and BEIJING, China - November 11, 2008 - Xelerated, the global leader in field-proven Carrier Ethernet ASSP chipsets, today announced the appointment of Mr. Christer Rydberg as their new General Manager in China. With more than 10 years of experience in the Asian market, Mr. Rydberg will lead the work to further strengthen the company's presence in China.
Mr. Rydberg will oversee Xelerated's sales and customer relations activities, leading a strong team to continue driving business development and strengthening service support to customers in China.

Prior to joining Xelerated, Mr. Rydberg held various managerial positions at Micronic Laser Systems, including that of Product Manager and Assistant Regional Manager. He managed day-to-day operations and established sales and service organizations in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. His past accomplishments are a testament to his strong customer-focused sales, in-depth technical understanding and vast experience in building and leading Asian organizations and teams. Christer holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. Christer has been living in China since 1996 and is fluent in Mandarin.
Xelerated established their operation in China in 2005 and has a technical support team of five employees based in Beijing and Shenzhen, with a plan to continue to grow. The company recently announced its HX300 family of network processors for the Carrier Ethernet market and programmable Ethernet switches to the fiber access market.
