BroadLight's BL3458 SoC is a highly integrated four-port Gigabit PON OLT. BL3458 integrates GPON MAC functions, GPON protocol management, Ethernet MAC functions, and an embedded host CPU subsystem. Along with PONJacket, BroadLight's comprehensive OLT software development package, with a complete set of device drivers, designers can realize quick and low-risk time to market development of high density ITU-T G.984 compliant OLT equipment. BL3458 supports a programmable Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation mechanism. Seamless interconnectivity with optical transceivers, Ethernet switches or Network Processors and DDR2 memory which significantly reduces complexity, power and cost during high density OLT designs.

Part of the BL23xx processor family, BL2348 is a low power and cost effective SoC targeting intelligent GPON Gateway service application processing in high performance access networks. BL2348 incorporates the industry's most advanced interfaces including Gigabit Ethernet, VoIP DSP and PCI, along with unrivaled QoS, security and hardware acceleration. Integrated with the innovative dual core RunnerTM network processor, BL2348 enables unmatched service application flexibility with benchmark performance. It's instruction set has been designed from the ground up and is optimized to accelerate services and networking over a wide range of protocols and traffic management models, while maintaining up to 1Gbps routing throughput.
